The AS Flight Information Display System (FIDS) is also based on information in the CDB that is added to and activated by a user.

The FIDS consist of all staff monitors, airport information monitors, check-in monitors, baggage claim monitors and gate monitors. If one of these screens is updated then automatically all corresponding monitors are updated e.g. “ Boarding Now” displayed on gate screen will also automatically show “Boarding Now” on airport information monitors.

The FIDS also controls the announcement system whereby if a flight is delayed, a check-in agent may update a monitor, select a language(s), add information for time on delay and activate the announcement.
